Projects
Here is everything we've ever done or at the very least, have planned to do. Most of these things were merely dreams that we've only thought of, but they at least took a strong physical shape in our imaginations.
Sonic OriginsOur first large project, this was a 2D Sonic MMORPG. Sounds like a big thing for such a small group. Surprisingly not only did it work but it was actually kinda good. It was still pretty crappy considering we were a bunch of 12 to 14 year olds trying to code and make a game, but it was playable and for the 6 months that this game lived, it was actually fun. At most 23 people were once online. It was a fun experience.

Sonic VS Silver SonicOriginally meant to be a 3 part series, then became a 2 part series, it was never completed. Well, not entirely. At the very least the first part was released and I must say, it wasn't bad at all. You can still find it here on my channel.

Dragon Ball FusionA short lived idea. After some issues with playing the popular MMORPG Dragon Ball Online, we decided to go a different route and make our own. Didn't last long, as this game was canned. At the time, only two characters were playable: Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Vegeta. Also this makes me realize just how much we liked MMORPGs considering this was our third attempt.

Knight TaleProbably our most famous project, Knight Tale was made while I discovered RPG Maker VX Ace and was playing around with the software in order to figure out how to use it. The result was a decent but crappy demo of what I planned to turn into a free full game. A lot of things were ready for this game, but it never was completed. Some day it may just be completed. I don't know when.

Shards of SerentyaOur biggest project that I still hope to complete some day. This game has quite the history behind it. And the reason for that is that the main cast of characters are all based on members of Sharic X Studios, even going as far as to bear our names. Having only 6 playable characters while the rest are supporting cast, the games was set to have over 30 hours of gameplay and a massive 2D world to explore.
While progress on this game has been on and off based on bursts of motivation, the nostalgia and potential that this game holds makes me not want to let go. I definitely will be finishing this game some day, and I very much look forward to that. |
The Book of ReyosThough Shards of Serentya was never completed, the story however, was. This game was made for the Indie Game Maker competition in which you have to make a game from scratch within the time period of one month. This game was meant to be a prequel of Shards of Serentya with a play time of 1 hour. However, having a late start in the contest, this game never made it to completion.

Well, these are all our big dreams and projects. I also wanted to work on quite a few comics, but my patience is short and the time and motivation I've had available has always been lacking. This has been a wonderful 8 years of my life being surrounded by these great people and sharing these great dreams. Thanks for everything and I hope that our greatest dreams do come true.
